5 Morning Tips for a Productive Day

morning

Naturally I am a morning person, I can rise at 5am and not miss a beat. After having children, I learned that in order for me to have productive days, I would need to create a routine for me to carve in that intimate time on a daily basis. Now, don’t get me wrong, I’m human and love sleeping in just like the next person. However on my productive days, I must get up on time and give myself what I like to call my power hour. There are 5 tips I recommend for a powerful day.

Cleansing

Tip 1: Skin Regimen: I wake up and complete my facial hygiene including brushing my teeth, using my chosen cleanser and chosen moisturizer. My skin is naturally oily, so I do not use toners, they seem to break me out. This simple act helps me feel refreshed and ready for the day.

Tip 2: Exercise for 30 mins: It is vital for me to get my work out done early in the morning. I feel more energized and there are no excuses! I rotate my routines including yoga, cardio, strengthening and stretching.

Tip 3: Meditation for 10 mins: I meditate for 10 minutes listening to vibration music. It soothes my spirit and helps me relax my body and mind after a good workout. I get centered and focused on my purpose for the day. It is important to always remain centered.

Journal

Tip 4: Prayer: I have to speak to my Heavenly Father on a daily basis. It is my most important conversation of the day. It helps keep me humbled and reminds me of my purpose for it all.

Tip 5: Journal: It is important for me to start my day off with 5 things I am grateful for. Amazingly I never write anything materialistic, most things are centered on my family. I have to remind myself of all the other things that I’m grateful for as well, but nothing replaces the love I have for my family.

The beauty in being a human being is that everything is intimate and personal. Comparing is the trick of evil. I offer these tips as an explanation of how I complete my morning routine, these tips work for me. You may have different approaches and ideas in the morning and that is totally ok. Do not feel pressured to change your routine to fit mine. I would love to hear your morning routine, please respond and share.

Peace & Blessings
